São Paulo, 18 de dezembro de 2008 - A Comissão de Segurança Pública e Combate ao Crime Organizado aprovou nesta quarta-feira (17/12) o projeto de lei nº 3797/08 que prevê o uso de GPS para localizar pessoas desaparecidas e rastrear idosos, deficientes e adolescentes que precisem de acompanhamento.

São Paulo, 18 de dezembro de 2008 - A Comissão de Segurança Pública e Combate ao Crime Organizado aprovou nesta quarta-feira (17/12) o projeto de lei nº 3797/08 que prevê o uso de GPS para localizar pessoas desaparecidas e rastrear idosos, deficientes e adolescentes que precisem de acompanhamento.
A proposta prevê que a família possa contratar o serviço de uma companhia que enviará informações, em tempo real, sobre a localização dos aparelhos cadastrados, via mensagens de texto ou acesso à internet. O rastreamento será feito pela identificação do chip do aparelho celular.
